Timothy M. Elliott, Managing Partner

Architect, AIA, NCARB

Tim's architectural experience includes project administration and production, programming, schematic design, design development, specification writing, project tracking, contract negotiations, construction documents and construction administration.

Tim is from Anthony, Kansas where he worked as a licensed funeral director in his family business before architecture. He graduated with a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Oklahoma in 1999. He is a citizen of The Chickasaw Nation, member of the American Institute of Architects, National Council of Architectural Registration Boards, First Presbyterian Church past Elder, Ada Rotary Club past Board Member, Science & Natural Resource Foundation Board, Ada Boys & Girls Club Board President, East Central University's Green Building Advisory Board, and Oklahoma Historic Preservation Architect.

 

Kimberly S. Prater, Partner

Office Administrator

Kim is responsible for managing the office. She coordinates development of each technical specification book which includes the assembly of standard “boiler plate” instructions for each entity we are working with. She obtains current prevailing Wage Rates for these projects and assists with production, assembly and distribution of Bidding Documents. Other responsibilities include the coordination of construction contracts, verification of Bidders Qualifications, bond and insurance compliance, assurance of required reporting documents, verifying Contractor’s weekly payroll reports and confirming Contractor’s Claim for Payments.

Kim received her education at Okemah Public Schools and East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in 1996. She has utilized her education and gained experience while working as an Administrative/Accounting employee with three previous employers. She is a member of the Board of Directors for the Ada Kiwanis Club, Booster Club President, and active in the local Little League Baseball program.

 

Forrest J. Neal, Partner

Project Administrator

Forrest brings a wealth of experience relating to single and multi-family housing. His background includes 13-years of experience in foundation repair, 8-years experience as a CADD Technician and 5-years experience as a Project Manager for federal housing projects.

Forrest is currently taking the Architect Registration Examination to obtain an Architect license. He obtained his formal education at Ada High School and attended Texas Community College in Frisco with an emphasis on drafting and received a CADD drafting certificate from Pontotoc County Vo-Tech. He is a Board Member of the Ada Lions Club and First United Methodist Church.

 

Donald R. Childers, Past Partner

Architect

Don has over 44 years of architectural experience with all scopes of projects. He was a partner in the Oklahoma City A&E firm of Nicek-Childers-Sherman & Associates and is currently partner of Childers-Childers Architects & Associates.

Don is Vice-Chairman of the City of Ada Airport Commission, former member of Advisory Board for the Salvation Army, former member of Advisory Board for Drafting and Design at the Pontotoc County Skill Center, member of the Leadership Ada Alumni Association and Chairman for the 1993, 1994, 1995, 2004, 2005 and 2006 AdaAirExpo. He serves as President of the Ada Aircraft Association, past President, present Board Member and Melvin Jones Fellow of the Lion's Club of Ada and served on the Building and Grounds Committee of the First Presbyterian Church. Don is also a licensed private pilot.

 

Glen F. Childers, Past Partner (Retired)

Architect

Glen has over 45 years of architectural experience with all scopes of projects and over 30 years experience with Federal Housing projects. He was a partner with James-Childers Architects & Associates before creating Glen Childers Architects & Associates, later becoming founding partner of Childers-Childers Architects & Associates.

Glen was selected as Outstanding Young Oklahoman in 1972; past member of the Board of Directors of Home Federal Savings and Loan Association of Ada; past Chairman of Forward Ada Authority; past member of the Board of Directors of the Ada Main Street Authority; member of Board of Directors of Kiwanis Club of Greater Ada; past First Vice President of Ada Chamber of Commerce; past Session Member of First Presbyterian Church; member of the Ada Airport and Aviation Committee of the Chamber of Commerce; past President of the Ada Aviation Association; past member of East Central Alumni Association Board of Directors; and member of Advisory Board for Drafting and Design to the Pontotoc County Skill Center. Glen is also a licensed private pilot.
